Job Description
As a Software Engineering Intern at LinkedIn, you’ll be working on advanced information-retrieval algorithms, scalable infrastructure, storage solutions, and large-scale applications for both web and mobile users. Due to the nature of this role and the equipment required, this position requires full-time, in-office presence to ensure you are set up for success.
Responsibilities:
- Scale distributed applications, make architectural trade-offs, and implement both synchronous and asynchronous design patterns.
- Develop scalable, high-performance, and reliable user-centric applications that operate 24×7.
- Write high-quality software that is unit tested, code-reviewed, and integrated continuously.
Basic Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering (CE) or Computer Science (CS), graduating by 2026.
- Experience in software design, development, and solving algorithmic problems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Programming experience in Java, C/C++, and C#.
- Strong object-oriented programming skills.
- Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Background in computer science.
